Our Junior School hosted Carnaval de Barbreck, a French cultural event in recognition of the international Carnival of Nice held in France in February each year.

Being customary to wear an elaborate mask and dress up at the Carnival of Nice, our Barbreck girls celebrated on the Village Green wearing handmade, decorative masks and enjoying French music, dancing and most of all, crêpes!

The crêpe station – generously supplied by the Carosa Family, was managed by a mix of students and parents – all of whom were appropriately dressed in the French theme.

Activities included a mask competition, with best mask judged by L’équipe conversation group members.

Carnaval de Barbreck was another wonderful opportunity to celebrate our French Language Program and our generous and lively Barbreck community!
