St Catherine’s School has enjoyed a long history of sporting success and is credited with nurturing talented young sports women to achieve at state, national and international competitions. In 2022 alone, we proudly acknowledged the success of our Senior Schoolgirls VIII Rowing Crew, now international champions following their success at the Henley Royal Regatta and our Senior and Junior Snowsports Teams, State and National Champions.

On Wednesday 29 March, as part of our Annual Giving Day, St Catherine’s School is aiming to raise $400,000 within 24-hours to enable the completion of our new St Catherine’s Sports Centre.

The new Sports Centre will provide our students with a contemporary fit-for purpose indoor sports court, a dedicated sports and conditioning studio – inclusive of an ergometer training pod, as well as tailored circuit training equipment, and a PMP and tumbling studio for our younger athletes.

These new facilities will enhance St Catherine’s existing Sports Programs and provide the infrastructure necessary to support our flagship House Arts Program and expand our offerings in new and exciting fields.

Our SAVE YOUR SEAT Giving Day calls on our loyal supporters to champion our pursuit of a thriving sports hub for our female athletes and complete Phase Three of St Catherine’s redevelopment of the Dorothy Pizzey Centre.

Through your generous support you can help deliver premium facilities in St Catherine’s new contemporary Sports Centre that reflect the high standard of competition St Catherine’s is renowned for.

329 seats in the Sports Centre have been made available for naming opportunities. The hydraulic retractable tiered seating structure will accommodate over 350 guests, enabling us to keep the beloved House Arts and Barbreck celebrations onsite, as well as providing courtside seating for sporting events.

SAVE YOUR SEAT by naming one of the 329 seats available in the new Sports Centre. Silver and Gold Class seats may be acknowledged with your family name, daughter’s name, or your name.

SAVE YOUR SEAT in our School’s history!
