Save Your Seat – House Competition

This year, as part of our Annual Giving Day being held on Wednesday 29 March, we have introduced a competitive component to our fundraising endeavours, running a House competition by linking gifts made in support of the new St Catherine’s Sports Centre, to students’ House alliances.

Our aim on Giving Day is to raise $400,000 within 24 hours.

Every student at St Catherine’s belongs to a House. Our St Catherine’s families are indelibly associated to the same House across generations of Old Girls within their family. The competitive spirit and deep connection to a House is an important part of life at St Catherine’s. Our House structure involves students in all Year levels, adding to our School’s wonderful sense of community.

House points are usually earned through academic achievements, commendations, and acts of community service. This year, our families and past students can make a worthy contribution to their House through our Annual Giving Day House Competition. They will also philanthropically support our contemporary new Sports Centre redevelopment, set to officially open in Term 2.

The House raising the most funds for the new St Catherine’s Sports Centre, will celebrate their victory by wearing their House colours for a school day and invited to decorate the Heyington Gates in their winning House colours.

Through your generous support our new contemporary Sports Centre will reflect the high standard of competition St Catherine’s is renowned for. SAVE YOUR SEAT by naming one of the 329 seats available in the new Sports Centre. Seats may be acknowledged with your family name, daughter’s name, or your name. All gifts to the Sports Centre are tax deductible.
