From the Principal
Welcome to a dedicated space where our new Principal, Ms Natalie Charles, shares her thoughts on education, leadership, and the evolving world our students will shape. Through these articles, you’ll gain insight into St Catherine’s School’s values, our commitment to nurturing confident and ethical young women, and the guiding principles that define our approach to learning.
In one of her first addresses to St Catherine’s girls, Principal Ms Natalie Charles reflected that leadership isn’t something you have, it’s something you do. It’s a practice and like any practice it takes time, effort, and reflection to master. She went on to share with them the words of Sir Vincent Fairfax who noted that “the power and wealth of a democracy is measured not only by the number and quality of its eminent leaders but by thousands of ‘little’ leaders who provide its real strength.”
Through her leadership, we look forward to seeing how Natalie continues to inspire and empower students to embrace this philosophy, fostering a culture where every girl has the confidence to lead in her own way.
