Situated on one campus in Melbourne’s inner south-east, take a virtual tour through our School’s historic buildings and modern refurbishments combining a magnificent blend of the past and the present. With plenty of open space, playing fields and gardens, our students enjoy a beautiful and comfortable learning environment.
To better cater for a range of needs and learning modes, our new Junior School – Barbreck is designed upon flexibility—the capacity for spaces to capture the needs of individual or small group work, team teaching and open shared space for collaborative program work. Prep to Year 3 students are housed together on one floor providing a gentle transition into the Junior School, enabling interaction with each other, and providing ease of access to the Library, Art Studio, Language Lab and Science Lab, fulfilling our commitment to providing specialist learning areas, such as the emerging field of STEM education.
Officially opened by Hon Julie Bishop in May 2022, our Jaime and Rebecca Gray Theatre provides an outstanding professional venue for our Performing Arts program, ensuring a specialised learning space that complements the professionalism and standard of performances by St Catherine’s students.
Featuring floor to ceiling digital display system, 360° blackout curtains, state-of-the-art lighting, sound and media technologies and sprung floors and The Jamie and Rebecca Gray Theatre has transformed the drama teaching and learning facilities at St Catherine’s.
Facilitating Netball, Tennis, Soccer, Hockey, Basketball and Physical Education classes our Sports Fields provide students the opportunity to further develop their skills, try new sports and compete in Girls Sport Victoria (GSV) competitions.
