Welcome to the St Catherine’s School Early Learning Centre (ELC), where our carefully designed learning spaces provide a nurturing and engaging environment for our youngest learners.
Our ELC spaces are thoughtfully created to inspire curiosity, creativity, and exploration. Each classroom is designed with age-appropriate furniture, materials, and learning centers that cater to the unique needs and interests of young children.

One of the key features of our ELC spaces is the variety of learning centers available to children. The outdoor spaces are equipped with age-appropriate play structures, sandpits, gardens, and open spaces for running, climbing, and imaginative play.
Our Junior School facilities are designed to provide a vibrant and enriching learning environment for our students, specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of our young learners, creating spaces that inspire curiosity, creativity, and collaboration.
As you explore our Junior School, you will find bright and spacious classrooms that are thoughtfully arranged with age-appropriate furniture and learning resources. The Senior School at St Catherine’s provides an exceptional environment for students as they embark on their final years of learning and personal growth. Our Senior students engage in more challenging academic studies, dedicating additional time to subjects that align with their individual needs, interests, and passions.
Our facilities are designed to cater to every aspect of our students’ learning and individual development. They include well-equipped classrooms, dedicated independent learning spaces, a library and resource center, a sports hall, a Strength and Conditioning Studio, and multi-purpose courts, and an art house-style Theatre for drama and music.

Officially opened by Hon Julie Bishop in May 2022, our Jaime and Rebecca Gray Theatre provides an outstanding professional venue for our Performing Arts program, ensuring a specialised learning space that complements the professionalism and standard of performances by St Catherine’s students.
Featuring floor to ceiling digital display system, 360° blackout curtains, state-of-the-art lighting, sound and media technologies and sprung floors and The Jamie and Rebecca Gray Theatre has transformed the drama teaching and learning facilities at St Catherine’s.
The Nicholas Library and Research Centre is a hub of knowledge, exploration, and intellectual growth. It serves as a vital resource for our students in their pursuit for academic excellence and personal development.

Our Marigold Southey Sports & Aquatic Centre is a premier facility dedicated to fostering a love for swimming, water-based activities, and overall aquatic well-being.

As you enter our Aquatic Centre, you will be greeted by our impressive 25m swimming pool, which features multiple lanes for lap swimming and training. The pool is meticulously maintained and equipped with advanced filtration systems to ensure clean and hygienic water conditions.
Our pool is also designed to accommodate various aquatic activities. Whether it’s swimming lessons, water polo, or diving, our pool offers a versatile space that meets the needs of different skill levels and interests.

Second Hand Uniform Shop
The Second Hand Uniform Shop is run by the Parents’ and Friends’ Association and provides the opportunity to purchase good quality second-hand uniforms at a reduced price.

Tuesday’s: 8am – 11am
Located in the building behind the Winter Garden – accessible through the rear door of the Winter Garden or through the pedestrian gate on Heyington Place between Gates 3 & 4.
This centre houses the School’s Hall which facilitates plays, assemblies and Physical Education classes.
The School Nurse and School Counsellor are located in Sherren House on the lower ground floor for student needs.
