St Catherine’s Admissions
How do you prepare a young girl for her future?
At St Catherine’s School we believe it begins with courage.
The moment a student walks through our Heyington Gates, she is encouraged to be bold, to inquire, to question, to learn, and to contribute.
Your child’s education is one of the most important decisions you can make about their future. To assist in this decision we invite you to visit our School campus and meet our students, Principal, and staff at one of our Open Mornings. We also welcome Scholarship applications from students not yet attending St Catherine’s and current students.

Application For Enrolment
Your child’s education is one of the most important decisions you can make about their future. To assist in the navigation of this process below is a typical step-by-step process. Please note this is a general process and unless your child is enrolling at St Catherine’s to commence at the start of the year these steps may vary.
We invite you to visit the campus, meet our students, Principal and staff at one of our Open Mornings or see some of the stories about Life at St Catherine’s. We also welcome Scholarship applications from students not yet attending St Catherine’s as well as current students.

Step 2. Attend an Open Morning or Small Group Tour
A great way to learn more about our School is to attend an Open Morning or Small Group Tour. Our Open Mornings and Small Group Tours are run throughout the year and offer a tour of our School campus led by students and staff, and an opportunity to meet the Principal and other relevant staff members.
Alternatively, we also offer personal tours for years of entry we have commenced enrolling in. Book a personal tour online, contact our Registrar who can answer your questions or take a virtual tour including our Boarding House, School facilities and ELC.
Step 3. Submit an application

Applications are accepted for all Year levels, however, please be aware that our key intake years are currently 3-year-old ELC, Prep, Year 3, Year 5, Year 7 and Year 9. Applications for entry should be submitted at least two years prior to your entry year.

Step 4. Formal Interview
Years 1 to 12
Once your child’s application is considered, you will be contacted by the School to arrange an interview with either our School Principal or Head of Junior School. Prior to the interview taking place, any current school reports will need to be submitted. Following the interview, students undertake basic literacy and numeracy assessments to determine their educational needs.
Boarding families based interstate or overseas will be required to have an enrolment interview via video conferencing with the Head of Boarding.

A formal Offer of place into the School may be made following the enrolment interview. A signed Enrolment Contract and the Entrance Fee (non-refundable) is required immediately to accept a place. Once payment has been received, formal confirmation of the place is provided. On enrolment, parents/guardians acknowledge that they have read and understood all school policies, rules and procedures.
