Our Auxiliaries are an integral part of our School community, and many parents choose to join at least one to support the wide variety of activities which enrich the experiences offered to our girls.

Parents can choose to assist with the great variety of friendraising and fundraising activities held during the year, and attend meetings to organise and coordinate these initiatives.

If you are interested in supporting any of our Auxiliaries please emial our Advancement team advancement@stcatherines.net.au

Parents’ and Friends’ Association

The Parents’ & Friends’ Association (PFA) was founded in 1949 to promote the interests of the School and to encourage cooperation between parents and staff. It organises various activities during the year, for example, The Ruth Langley Luncheon, New Parents Social Evening and Twilight Picnic.

All correspondence should be forwarded to the Secretary PFA, St Catherine’s School, 17 Heyington Place Toorak VIC 3142.

Snowsports Auxiliary

The Snowsports Auxiliary actively supports the Sports Department to promote the enjoyment, participation and competition of the girls in the disciplines of Skiing, Snowboarding and Cross-xCountry. Social and fundraising activities, including a Cocktail Party and Presentation Dinner, are held to encourage team spirit and to raise money to purchase equipment. Monthly meetings are held during the season. The Snowsports Auxiliary is a great way to meet other St Catherine’s families who love the snow.

Sports Auxiliary

This Auxiliary supports the Sports Department in both Junior and Senior Schools by holding events which encourage team spirit and raise money to purchase sporting equipment and to maintain existing sporting facilities and equipment.

Second Hand Books

To offer all current and incoming parents the opportunity to participate in an annual Second-Hand Book Sale held in December each year as an efficient cost-saving exercise and service to parents and students in Senior School.

St Catherine’s offers a welcome recycling service to all senior families where all senior school textbooks in good condition can be submitted for sale to the annual Book Sale held late November. Second-hand books on sale are offered for approximately two-thirds of the Campion Recommended Retail Price of new books. The School retains a 25% commission from books sold to boost the School’s Library resources and the balance of 75% is returned to parents via direct deposit.
