Writers’ Club: A World of Words
As the year has progressed, Writers’ Club has continued to be a great space for girls to join together and enhance their writing skills.
Every week, there is a wonderful atmosphere and energy as the girls get to engage in a range of writing activities different to those they experience in class. They eagerly embrace the chance to explore their unique writing styles, crafting imaginative pieces. Every session encourages the girls to use their writing skills to express their thoughts and ideas, building on the Language Techniques they have learned in class.
Throughout each Writers’ Club session, the girls have taken on diverse writing tasks, including crafting narratives, writing informative texts, and persuading chocolatiers to produce the Willy Wonka style chocolate they created.
The girls have expressed how much they enjoy the variety of writing activities, as well as the opportunity to work together in the creative process of drafting. Some girls have shared what they like most about Writers’ Club below.
Stella (Year 6) – “Writers’ Club helps to expand my knowledge about writing.”
