French Story Time

Every week, two Year 12 French students volunteer to read stories to younger students at the Junior School. This meaningful initiative was introduced by Madame Muller, one of our JS French teachers, who sought to foster a connection between the two campuses through the study of French while promoting the language in a spirit of shared learning and engagement.
All our Year 12 French students enthusiastically embraced the idea and established a rotating schedule to ensure that all interested students could participate. Over time, these reading sessions have attracted an increasing number of students across various year levels, drawn to the unique experience of storytelling and cultural exchange.
This initiative provides an excellent opportunity for Junior and Senior school students to come together and connect through the power of storytelling.
The reading sessions take place every Friday at lunchtime in the French room at the Junior School. We invite you to join us and experience the magic of storytelling at firsthand!
