Sharing our Learning Ancient Greece Exhibition

Over the past few weeks, in Ms Hildebrand’s History class we have been learning about Ancient Greece.

We have discovered the secrets of how Ancient Greek people lived, the homes they built, the foods they ate, how they entertained themselves and their unique government systems that still influence the way many countries govern today.

Each student has created a portfolio of work to demonstrate their understanding of all aspects related to Ancient Greece. Every portfolio contains a selection of activities designed to share the information we have learnt. Tasks include board games, dance routines and menus showing samples of traditional Greek food.

We have enjoyed sharing our portfolios and knowledge of Ancient Greece with each other and three Year 12 students who are members of the Student Executive: Ava Colosimo, Lucia Tabbagh and Jemima Wilcox. They looked through our portfolios, watched our performances and provided feedback.

We were commended for our outstanding efforts and achievements on this project and some lucky students even won prizes! This has been a wonderful way to learn about Ancient Greece and it has certainly ignited a desire to learn more!

We loved having the opportunity to share our learning in this Ancient Greece classroom gallery.
