Barbreck presents ‘Pictures at an Exhibition’ – Thursday December 2, 2021

Please join us for an afternoon of Creative Arts, featuring art work from every Barbreck student, and a selection of students from our Music Ensembles on December 2, 2021

The afternoon event will replace the usual Barbreck Music Concert, and be shared with parents and families via a video link.

The title ‘Pictures at an Exhibition’ refers to music written by the Russian composer, Mussorgsky, who wrote this piece of music in honour of his artist friend, Hartmann. The music describes Mussorgsky walking around the art gallery looking at the paintings by his friend, Hartmann.

We look forward to sharing this special Creative Arts event with you and celebrating the fusion of Art and Music in the Junior School.
