As we near the end of this school year, it is timely to ask the girls what they are looking forward to in 2022. Below are some of the responses.

Prep Girls

• Looking after next year’s preps

Year 1 Girls

• Sleeping over at School
• Being in the Nativity for the Christmas Service
• Learning new things
• Being taller!
• Starting the Strings Program – learning the violin

Year 2 Girls

• That there will be more girls, and we will become new friends
• Learning harder work
• Being in the one class together
• Teachers to get to know
• A two night camp
• Starting cursive writing

Year 3 Girls

• Moving to the lower level
• Wearing a different dress uniform
• Being in two classes
• Not being in the younger years – but moving towards upper primary
• Making new friends with the new girls
• New teachers
• New learning, especially in Maths
• Getting a laptop

Year 4 Girls

• Sitting NAPLAN
• Getting their pen licences
• Being in the band program
• Camp
• Study tour to Sovereign Hill
• 3km Cross Country (only some girls looked forward to this!)
• Aerobics

Year 5 Girls

• Being the leaders of the School
• Being role models for the younger girls
• Being Captains
• Playing Interschool sports
