Swimming Success in the Junior School

The annual Armadale District Dive Carnival was held at the Marigold Southey Centre at St Catherine’s on Tuesday 27 April 2021.

Congratulations to all our divers who competed this week.

Our 12 divers, four from each age group, all performed extremely well despite their nerves. For more than half of them, it was their first ever diving competition. Their competitors from Lauriston, Firbank, Korowa and Loreto were eager to show their skills. It was great to have spectators, back in the stands, cheering on the girls.

All these girls should be so proud of their achievements as they trained solidly for this carnival.

I also want to encourage the girls who tried so hard to gain a place in our team and just missed out; to know to keep trying as there is always next year.
