Monash Scholars’ Program
Congratulations to Year 10 students, Angelina Chumbley, Olivia Hargrave, and Sienna Rigg who have been selected to join the Monash Scholars’ Program.
The Monash Scholars’ Program is a prestigious program for high achieving secondary students to give them a unique head start into university life.
Students who are selected to join the program in Year 10, stay until the end of Year 12.
“I hope to gain a taste of what university life will entail through the Monash Scholars’ Program. It is also a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and create new connections,” shares Angelina Chumbley.
Over the two and a half years of the Program, Scholars participate in a range of activities to enhance their learning, including:
- Exploring career ambitions
- Defining personal aspirations
- Building networks with other high performing students
In their applications the girls were required to demonstrate academic achievement, co-curricular endeavours and articulate what a good leader looks like and how they display these qualities in their own lives.
We wish the girls well as they progress and develop through the Monash Scholars’ Program.
