General Achievement Test – Trial Exam
Trial GAT (General Achievement Test)
Date: Wednesday 8 June
Session 1: 9.30am to 11.45pm Session 2: 1.15pm to 3pm in the Upper Library.
- Students must attend both sessions and are not permitted to leave the school grounds during the 1.5-hour break
- Full School Uniform required
- Strictly NO phones
- Drink bottle with no label, clear pencil case, dictionary, and scientific calculator permitted
- External supervisors will be in attendance, and we will mirror official GAT processes
Critical Dates
- Wednesday 7 September – General Achievement Test (GAT)
All Units 3&4 students are required to sit the GAT. Students in Year 11 completing Units 1&2 subjects only will not be permitted at School this day. - Tuesday 27 September to Friday 30 September – Units 3&4 Trial Exams
All Units 3&4 students are required to attend all subject trial exams. The Trial Exam timetable will be released shortly. - Monday 3 October to Sunday 30 October – Performance and Languages Oral Examinations
Students sitting oral exams will receive official dates and times shortly from VCAA and the Dean of Academics. - Wednesday 26 October to Wednesday 16 November – Written examinations Units 3&4
