Bravo girls! 

On Thursday 17 February, 26 Years 4, 5 and 6 student teams took part in the Armadale District Swimming Carnival in our first interschool competition for 2022. 

In a superb display St Catherine’s was able to finish in outright second, placing less than 10 points behind Loreto, following a spirited relay finish. As the second smallest school in the District, St Catherine’s took home the Population Trophy for the fourth consecutive year. Congratulations to all our students for this excellent achievement. 

Both our individual and relay performances displayed excellence, dedication to training and focus on progression and results. There were many memorable moments throughout the day, with the stand out being Carla Martuccio’s spirited final leg of the Year 6 freestyle relay, which saw St Catherine’s move from third to first place in that race.   

We patiently wait for the final individual results to see who may progress to the Division Carnival later in Term 1.
