A Charitable Showcase of Young Entrepreneurs

In a remarkable culmination of our Ambassador Program and a comprehensive exploration of Economics and Business in our HASS Unit, our Year 5 students have embarked on an exciting entrepreneurial journey. On Thursday 14 September, coinciding with the last Thursday of Term 3, the Year 6 students will host a Fundraising Day to raise funds for the Smith Family. Central to this charitable initiative is the Year 5 Mini Market, an enterprise eagerly anticipated by all.

The Year 5 Mini Market will fill the Village Green and promises an array of goods and services meticulously crafted by our Year 5 entrepreneurs. The offerings at our market are as diverse as they are creative. Patrons will have the opportunity to indulge in a delightful shopping experience, perusing a plethora of delightful products and services.

Our young entrepreneurs have poured their hearts into crafting a variety of goods. Delectable baked goods, charmingly wrapped lolly bags, tasteful jewellery, and essential stationery supplies are just a glimpse of what is in store. The creativity and craftsmanship behind these products are certain to impress.

The Year 5 Mini Market is not just about physical goods – it is a hub for interactive experiences as well. Visitors can indulge in unique services such as expert hair braiding and engaging carnival activities, among others. These offerings are designed to provide entertainment and create memorable moments for all.

Every purchase made at the Year 5 Mini Market contributes to a noble cause. While we have set suitable prices for our products to ensure financial sustainability, the profits generated will be entirely donated to the Smith Family. This not only educates our young entrepreneurs about the value of giving back but also allows them to make a meaningful impact on the community.

Our Year 5 mini businesses eagerly await the opportunity to share their creations with you, all in the spirit of charity and community. The Year 5 Mini Market is a testament to the creativity, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility of our Year 5 students.

Join us on Thursday 14 September on the Village Green, as we join to support a noble cause and witness the entrepreneurial spirit of our young changemakers. Thank you for your anticipated support, and we cannot wait to share our mini businesses with you.
