Junior School Concert 2022

The Junior School Concert was a night of celebration.

We celebrated all Instrumental and Choral Ensembles. This event highlighted the strong musical culture within the lives of our Junior School girls.

Our girls spend the whole year building musical and ensemble skills. Building relationships with peers and teachers based on trust and respect. They spend time learning and preparing repertoire for performances such as this one.

This Concert provided the opportunity for girls from Prep to Year 6 to share their talents and represent the creative community at St Catherine’s. They sure did shine bright last Thursday night!

Every single girl performed at their best and devoted their whole heart to the process. It was a privilege to watch them perform on stage in the Dorothy Pizzey Centre. The program was filled with pieces that gave a contemporary and upbeat feel to the night. At the end of the night, the whole Junior School came together to perform a Massed Choral item led by Ms Juliana Kay, singing It’s Bonfire Season, an electric song by Alice Chance, a young Australian composer.

We are all so proud of our Barbreck students. I encourage parents to celebrate this achievement at home with their family.

Well done and thank you to all our Barbreck students for participating in this event.

Thank you to our Barbreck parents for joining us on this special night.

Thank you to all our instrumental teachers and classroom staff for your support this year.
