The exceptional Ruth Langley Luncheon for past and present parents and staff will be held on Friday 17 June 2022 at Zinc Restaurant at Federation Square.

The amazing annual Luncheon brings together our St Catherine’s family in an inclusive and welcoming manner over great conversation, food, and wine to celebrate our achievements and the incredible community spirit St Catherine’s is renowned for.

I am extremely excited to announce our keynote speaker will be The Hon. Julie Bishop. Ms Bishop was a Federal Member of Parliament for the Western Australian electorate of Curtin. She served as Minister for Foreign Affairs from 2013 to 2018 and was the Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party from 2007 to 2018. Ms Bishop currently holds the position of Chancellor of the Australian National University, a position she has held since January 2020.

In a Q&A style interview, Ms Bishop will provide our guests with insights on how she used her confidence, determination, and experience to liaise with some of the world’s most difficult personalities and challenging global affairs situations.

Ms Bishop is an exemplary role model for all our daughters on what can be achieved in life if they so desire. She is a great example of what our girls can accomplish through dedication, integrity, and confidence.

As key supporters in empowering our daughters to be strong, resilient leaders in whatever they choose to be, this year we will also be providing an opportunity to welcome fathers and significant male role models to the Luncheon.
