The Armadale District Dive Carnival at St Catherine’s, Marigold Southey Sports & Aquatic Centre, was once again a great event, with many schools in our District represented.

For the first time, five competitors were able to compete in the 12/13 years, age group. When competitors are able to perform three different dives from three different categories, they enter the A Division. B Division allows girls to perform jumps as they are still developing their dive repertoire.

St Catherine’s girls competed well despite many of them missing training sessions due to illness. They were all keen to learn and improve their dives. This was evident with our divers in Year 6 all finishing in the top four. The B Division had a clean sweep in the first four places, and Lila Read achieved a personal best score with her dives in A Division.
