Winter is officially here! It is finally snowing and we are excited for the St Catherine’s House Snowsports weekend at Mt Buller on 17 and 18 July 2021.This year’s event will be a fantastic opportunity for you and your family to ski, snowboard, compete for your House and enjoy a weekend away with the St Catherine’s Snowsports Community.

St Catherine’s Snowsports aims to encourage all students to participate, improve their competition experience and involve themselves in a weekend full of House spirit, socialising and snow!

St Catherine’s offer various training opportunities for all girls to enjoy over the weekend, and with the House Cross Country Races taking place on Saturday 17 July and the House Alpine and Snowboard on Sunday 18 July, there is an event for everyone. Students do not necessarily need to be an expert to participate in this event, however as a duty of care we strongly encourage all students to have prior experience through Mt Buller Ski School, Mt Buller Race Club or an equivalent to participate in this event.

All St Catherine’s students choosing to participate in the Victorian Interschools Competition must compete in St Catherine’s House Weekend as this forms our selection process to put the strongest teams forward for the School. Cross Country Ski Hire

The School has a number of Cross Country boots, skis and poles available for students to loan. Priority will go to those girls who have represented St Catherine’s at the Victorian Interschools Cross Country event in previous years. Only students competing in the Interschool Cross Country event may loan equipment. To hire, please complete the Cross Country Ski Hire Form.
