St Catherine’s had a very successful swimming meet at the Division Carnival on Friday 5 March.

Representing a very strong Armadale District was:

• 10 Years Relay team of Giselle (Gigi) Armstrong, Carys Dreaver, Imogen Herron and Zara Barr who finished in second place narrowly missing a spot at the Regional Carnival.
• Zara Barr also took part in the individual Freestyle and Backstroke picking up a third place in the Backstroke.
• 11 Years Relay team of Louisa Liao, Coco Lutz, Arabella Foote and Clara Calvert managed to win their race and progress to the Regional final Wednesday 24 March.
• Louisa Liao (Freestyle) and Clara Barry (Butterfly) both represented St Catherine’s in individual events. Louisa swam a very fast opening leg of the relay whilst Clara Barry recorded a personal best of 45.78s for her individual Butterfly.
