All St Catherine’s current and incoming parents are welcome to participate in the annual Second-Hand Book Sale held as an efficient cost-saving exercise and service to parents and students in the Senior School.

We are delighted to confirm the Second-hand book sale will proceed this year in a revised Click & Collect format to suit COVID-19 times and restrictions. Full procedures, Terms & Conditions, relevant forms and links will be available next week but some of the changes to note are:

  • Only collecting books on the Booklist for 2021 (please confirm correct editions).
  • No unsold books will be returned to sellers. All unsold books will be deemed a donation and passed on to a charity.
  • This year we are making best efforts to sell using FIFO – to enable this when dropping books off please ensure you compete the Date and Time boxes at the top of the Form. (Incentive to drop off early!)
  • Purchasing is only via Formstack using credit card payment (incurring 1.5% surcharge). There is no opportunity for in-person purchasing or cash sales.
  • Errors in packaging orders will be rectified where possible otherwise no returns or refunds.
  • Books dropped-off without the completed form attached will be deemed a donation with books passed on to charity and St Catherine’s retaining sale proceeds.
BOOK DROP-OFF

Wednesday 25 November – Tuesday 1 December at 4pm
Book drop-off will be contactless with a table available at outside Student Services. All books must be on the Booklist for 2021 (please confirm correct editions).

“The book list is for reference and the signed form with seller details will be distributed next week”

Books must be bagged, individually tagged and the completed form securely attached with date and time of drop-off completed. Books must be in good condition and unmarked (no annotation or highlighting).

PURCHASING

Purchasing will be via Formstack ONLY with no cash sales or in-person purchasing available. All books for sale will be loaded on Formstack by Year Level, by subject.

OPEN: Wednesday 2 December from 7.30am

CLOSE: When sold out or Friday 4 December at 10am

COLLECTION OF BOOKS PURCHASED

Friday 4 December between 8-10am AND Noon-2pm from 15A Heyington Place.
