Welcome to Term 1. We hope all families and their daughters had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday break.

The Second Uniform shop re-opened on Wednesday 29 January 2020 from 12 noon until 3pm for new and current families.

Location

The Second Hand Uniform Shop is conveniently located on the Senior School Campus in the building behind the Winter Garden – accessible through the rear door of the Winter Garden or through the pedestrian gate on Heyington Place between Gates 3 and 4.

Opening Hours and Dates

During term-time, the Second Hand Uniform Shop is open every Wednesday from 1.00pm to 4:30pm.  Extra opening days and times are advertised in The Blue Ribbon and My St Catherine’s Mobile App.

First Opening for Term 1 – Wednesday 5 February 2020

Last Opening for Term 1 – Wednesday 25 March 2020

Donations and Consignments

The Second Hand Uniform Shop welcomes donations of all uniform items. If you have any uniform items that your daughter has outgrown, please consider sending them our way.

We gladly accept items such as:

• School and sports bags
• Sun caps, swim caps
• School socks

Items considered ‘not fit for sale’ are also welcomed as we recycle zips, buttons, cords and fabric for mending purposes.

A reminder that parents can sell:

Blazers, spray jackets, 2XU leggings, rowing suits, deck coats and inter-school display leotards on consignment, with 50% of the sale price paid back to parents at end of each term in the form of direct credit into a nominated bank account.

All items submitted for sale on consignment must be clean and in good condition. Please print the Second Hand Consignment Form, complete the details and attach to your items if you wish to consign them for sale. Donation items included in the same package do not need to be listed.

Donations and Consignments can be dropped off at the shop on Wednesdays between 1.00pm and 4.30pm or left at Senior School Reception at any time.

The Second Hand Uniform Shop has good stock of:

• Pullover vests
• Rugby tops
• House polos
• Leotards (including display leotards)
• Winter skirts
• Pinafores and shirts
• Junior summer dresses

All items in the shop are laundered, in excellent condition and ready to wear!

The Uniform Shop also offers a range of new items for sale such as the St Catherine’s Cookbook, St Catherine’s Jute Shopping Bag, Blue School and House Coloured Ribbons.

Uniform Shop Orders

Parents can place orders for second hand uniform items by placing an order in person during opening hours or by sending an email to pfauniform@stcatherines.net.au. Parents will be advised by email as soon as the required item comes into stock.

New Students and Exchange Students Requiring Uniform Fittings

All new student and exchange student fittings are by appointment only. Please contact the Uniform Shop Convenor, Lisa James, to make an appointment.

Volunteering

Volunteering in the Uniform Shop is a great way to meet other parents and get involved in our School community.  If you’re interested in volunteering, please visit us in the Uniform Shop or send an email to pfauniform@stcatherines.net.au.
