Congratulations to the following Year 8 students who have been nominated as Top Scoring students in the Toorak Region in the Junior Schools Program by the Debaters Association of Victoria:

• Paula Chen
• Pia Zayontz
• Olivia Bogdan (who was also awarded Best Speaker twice)
• Lan-Tian Yen-West (who was also awarded Best Speaker once)

This acknowledges a high degree of skill level in the formal aspects of Debating: manner, matter and method.

Students are usually given scores ranging from 74 -78 in the competition; all of the abovementioned students received scores of 77.
