A Time for Celebration and Reflection

A Time for Celebration and Reflection

It is hard to believe that the year is now drawing to a close! As we reflect, we can celebrate a year which has been highlighted by immense learning, discovery, friendship and community. The children, educators and families will certainly look back on the year with great memories of the learning, growth and development that has taken place and the wonderful experiences that have been shared as part of our learning community.

The children will be presented with their individual learning journals in the coming days. This is a wonderful reflection and celebration of your child’s learning and growth in the Early Learning Centre (ELC) this year. We encourage you to take time to share the journal as a family and use it as a way for your child to reflect on their year. We know that the journal holds many happy memories and will be appreciated for years to come.

As the children transition into the next chapter of their educational journey, we know that they will move forward with confidence and independence to take on the learning opportunities that lie ahead. This is an exciting time in the children’s lives.

In particular, we farewell the current 4-year-old ELC students as they take this next exciting step into Prep. We wish the children and their families well for the year ahead.

Our current 3-year-old ELC students are excitedly preparing for their big move “upstairs” as they progress into the 4-year-old early learning program. The children have an exciting year of growth and learning to look forward to in their new 4-year-old classrooms.

Season’s Greetings

Together with the Campbell House staff, I would like to wish all ELC families a wonderful Christmas season filled with peace, joy and love. May the new year bring time for families to share celebrations and new beginnings, and most importantly time to spend with family and friends.

The 2018 school year will conclude for ELC students at midday on Wednesday 12 December.

We look forward to commencing the 2019 school year in Campbell House from Thursday 31 January for all of our new and returning children and families.
