On Wednesday 6 November, Imogen Brownjohn represented St Catherine’s with outstanding skill and dedication at the SSV State Track and Field Championships, held at Lakeside Stadium.  

Having progressed through District, Division, and Regional levels, Imogen qualified to compete in both the 12/13-Year-Old Triple Jump and Long Jump events – an exceptional accomplishment, placing her among the top 14 athletes in the state. 

Imogen excelled in the Triple Jump, achieving an impressive second place with a leap of 10.02 metres, a tremendous result reflecting her hard work and skill.  

Following a long break, she returned to compete in the Long Jump. With grit and determination, she completed three solid jumps, ultimately finishing in fourth place – a remarkable achievement in a day filled with personal successes. 

Imogen’s dedication and her “try your best” attitude made us all incredibly proud as she represented St Catherine’s.
