Connecting with Family and Friends
Over recent weeks, we have been offering opportunities for the children’s grandparents or special visitors to come along and spend some time with them in their classroom at our ELC.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the children to spend time with their visitors, show them around the classroom, talk about what they have been learning and introduce them to their friends and teachers.
Inviting grandparents and special visitors into our ELC offers many benefits that positively impact our children, their grandparents, and the educational environment.
This intergenerational interaction fosters a sense of community, enhances learning experiences, and strengthens family bonds.
These special events not only create cherished memories but also highlight the importance of family in a child’s educational journey. The ELC’s initiative to invite grandparents and special visitors fosters a sense of community and emphasises the invaluable role grandparents play in the lives of their grandchildren.
Having grandparents and special visitors spend time in the ELC creates an enriched, supportive, and dynamic learning environment. These opportunities not only benefit our ELC children but also the lives of the grandparents, fostering a strong, intergenerational community.
We look forward to continuing to welcome grandparents and special visitors to our events over the coming weeks.
