Years 7 and 8
In Years 7 and 8 our focus is very much on building solid academic foundations to prepare for the years ahead; complemented by our well-established Wellbeing program which ensures each girl feels valued and supported in her learning.
A well devised, generalist core curriculum enables our students to be in a position to identify their own strengths and talents, yet still experience a full range of subjects intended to tap into each student's whole potential.
We seek to reflect each girl's individual preferred learning style by offering acceleration, extension and educational support as required. Our approach is designed to differentiate and enhance the capabilities of the year group.
An emphasis on community and respect for the needs and views of others, as well as personal and organisational responsibility, is also a strong element of Years 7 and 8.
Our core subjects ensure our students gain a strong foundation in essential learning areas:
- Art
- Drama
