The Victorian Cross Country Interschool Snowsports Championships were held over the weekend of Saturday 2 & Sunday 3 August with some beautiful sunshine and a great snow base providing us with pristine racing conditions. The determination displayed by all St Catherine’s students from both the primary and senior schools were nothing short of inspiring, as they displayed their skills and spirit of sportsmanship. Our Division 3 students were out to impress as they finished 2nd in the Division 3 Relay Race. Whilst our Primary School students finished a very close 2nd in the Overall Primary Girls Championship – just 7 points behind Melbourne Girls Grammar School. Congratulations to Bella Wilkins finishing 6th overall in Div 3 Individual Classic, and congratulations to Catherine Ross who finished top 10 individually in the Cross-Country Classic event, an incredible achievement in her final race for the school! The community within our Snowsports program is a testament to all the amazing parents, families and students we have. This is enhanced with the invaluable guidance of our esteemed old girls who helped St Catherine’s on their weekend.
