It is almost time for the third consecutive St Catherine’s Big Freeze.  

We are so excited to announce that this year the event will be our Davis House fundraiser!!  

2022 Fight MND

Many teachers and students have bravely volunteered to take part, dressing up in the theme of “a famous person or thing associated with the colour red.” Our brave participants will be dunked in the ice bath on Friday 9 June at lunchtime. 

Last year we raised an amazing $10,000 which we appreciated so much. In 2023, we are hoping to match or even beat this total! 

All funds raised will go towards the fundraiser FightMND which funds vital research to find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease. 

As was the tradition last year, we will be asking students to wear their favourite football team’s merchandise in exchange for a donation at the Heyington Gate on arrival to School on Friday 9 June. 

We will also be selling our FightMND beanies again this year. They are in limited supply and currently on the way, so if you would like to secure yours via pre-order, please email Mietta or Freya!  

Any donation (no matter how large or small) will go a long way towards helping us reach our target and supporting those who are fighting MND.
