An Exciting Start to Term 2

We are excited to share that Term 2 is off to a fantastic start!

Co-curricular activities are in full swing, and our students have already participated in interschool sporting events. Additionally, our Prep to Year 2 Aquarium excursion was a highlight of the term so far.

We have a range of upcoming events planned to enhance our students’ learning experience, promote School spirit, and foster community engagement. Our dedicated staff and volunteers have been working hard to organise these events, and we cannot wait to see our students fully engaged in learning and enjoying themselves.

Sport
District Cross Country – Overall Champions!

District Cross Country Champions

Congratulations to our Barbreck Cross Country Team who won the Armadale District Cross Country event held yesterday at Kooyong Park.

It was an impressive showcase of athleticism and determination, and we are incredibly proud of all our competitors.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to the parents who attended the event to support their daughters. Your encouragement and support are appreciated by students and the wider School community. Many thanks to Mr Tom Crebbin, Miss Liv Cody, and Miss Fiona Wardlaw who managed the Team on the day.

House Athletics

The House Athletics Carnival for students in Years 3 to 6 will be held at Duncan Mackinnon Reserve on Monday, May 8, from 9.45am till 2.00pm. On the event day, students must wear their designated House top and a suitable, warm PE uniform.

We invite parents to attend and show their support for their daughters.

The Parents’ & Friends’ Association will be selling an array of wonderful Mother’s Day gifts on Friday 12 May. The annual Mother’s Day Stall will be set up in the Mary Davis Café and open in the morning.

All students will have the chance to visit the Stall with their class and pick out a gift for their mother or another special person. Gift prices range from $2 to $20.
