Casual Boarding 

Along with St Catherine’s long-term boarding program, we are proud to offer our Senior School families the option of Casual Boarding in Illawarra. 

Our Boarding House provides a safe and comfortable living environment for all our boarders, just a short walk from our Senior School. Our Casual Boarding program offers Senior School students flexible boarding opportunities to stay on campus for an extended or short-stay arrangement. 

Parents can enjoy the peace of mind of knowing their daughter is being cared for in a safe, supportive, and familiar environment. 

Flexible Boarding for Busy Families

Casual Boarding suits our busy St Catherine’s families who, from time-to-time face unexpected travel, work, family, or School commitments.  

This flexible option can also suit families who live out of town and are finding it difficult to juggle after-school commitments including School productions and sporting events.  

Benefits for Students 

Casual boarders can utilise our daily Boarding House program including structured homework times and pastoral support from House supervisors.  

As a casual boarder, girls can experience life as a boarder, broaden their friendships across Year levels, create a greater sense of belonging and grow in their independence.
