On a steamy Wednesday 2 March the Barbreck girls took part in the first major House event for 20022, House Cross Country at Kooyong Park.

The very eager Year 3s and 4s began proceedings with their 2km run.

Third: Charlotte Chew

Fourth: Nina Calvert

The Years 5 and 6 race was over 3km, and it was dominated by new student, Charlotte Roe who put on a masterclass of distance running to win easily for Holmes Kilbride.

With strong performances from so many new students, all looks good for the Armadale District Cross Country on Thursday 5 May.

A list of the District training squad will be announced soon. Training will begin in earnest on Tuesday 8 March at 7.00am from the Marigold Southey Sports & Aquatic Centre.
