Barbreck News – From the Deputy Head W4|T4

We have enjoyed a wonderful few weeks in Barbreck. The girls have fully settled into the school year and have been enjoying their lessons and all the Co-curricular activities School has to offer.

I would like to highlight the wonderful performance of our District Swimming team at the District Interschool Swimming Carnival last Thursday. Taking second place and winning the Population Trophy is a fantastic achievement!

Mr Crebbin’s before-school Swimming training has certainly paid off! My thanks go to Tom and Mr Andrew Gold who assisted in managing the team on the day.

School Uniform Requirements – Commencing Week 5
Prep to Year 3

Prep to Year 2 students will continue to swim every Tuesday throughout the year. The girls are to wear their School Uniforms on those days. Students will change into their bathers before their Swimming class and back into Uniform afterwards.

On days that Prep to Year 3 students have a Physical Education lesson, they are to wear their Sports Uniforms to and from School.

These days are:

Prep: Wednesday

Year 1: Wednesday

Year 2: Monday

Year 3: Wednesday & Friday

Please note, If students participate in before-school activities, such as Netball and do not have Physical Education on that day, they must change into their School Uniform before 8.20am.

Students in Years 4 to 6 are required to wear full School Uniform, including Blazer, to and from School each day. The girls are then required to change into Sports Uniform before Sport and Physical Education lessons.
