Term 2 has been action packed with exciting activities and lots of sports occurring throughout the term.  

Our Years 5 & 6 Afterschool Sports House Soccer Competition wrapped up this week with some impressive teamwork and skills on display.  

After several competitive rounds, the results are:

Year 6 District Netball and Soccer Tournament

On Wednesday 22 May, our Year 6 District Netball and Soccer Teams showcased their talents at the Armadale District Tournament.  

The selection process was rigorous, with each girl undergoing trials to earn a spot on the relevant Team. We are immensely proud of their achievements. 

The Year 6 District Soccer Team coached by the dynamic Mr Whittaker, toughed out a day full of Soccer, culminating in a thrilling playoff win against Korowa to secure fifth place overall.  

The perseverance and teamwork shown by the girls were truly commendable. Special mention to Sophia West (Year 6) and Allegra Gavilan-Bongiorno (Year 6) for their exceptional goal scoring.

The Year 6 District Netball Team played exceptional Netball all day, demonstrating impressive skill and coordination despite some challenging teams they were up against. The Team finished seventh overall after a hard-fought victory against Genazzano in the playoffs.  

A huge thank you to both Mr Whittaker and Ms Johansen for all their help and guidance for the girls over the last few weeks. Thanks also to all the parents who came to support their daughters.
