We are all excited to welcome Rowena Martinich (’97) and Geoffrey Carran to St Catherine’s as our artists-in-residence.

Commissioned to create a masterful mural to celebrate St Catherine’s 120 anniversary the project was delayed due to rain during Arts Week in Term 3. Finally we have some clear days ahead and Rowena and Geoffrey commenced work on Wednesday 6 October.

Students from all Year levels have the opportunity to watch Rowena and Geoffrey at work, as they create the large mural located near the Marigold Southey Sports & Aquatic Centre over the next week.

The artwork they have designed for us is a beautiful image of an Eastern Yellow Robin, perched on a sprig of wattle, using colours reflecting our School.
