We are delighted to share the 2025 NAPLAN results, which highlight the strong learning achievements of our students across the Junior School.

Year 5 Results:
Our Year 5 cohort achieved excellent results, with over 90% of students at strong or exceeding levels across all areas. Growth was particularly impressive in Spelling (91% at strong or exceeding, up 9%) and Grammar and Punctuation (92% at strong or exceeding, with a 19% increase in exceeding). Numeracy also remained strong, with 92% of students at strong or exceeding levels, including a 12% increase in exceeding results from 2024.

Year 3 Results:
Our Year 3 students also performed very well, with 92% at strong or exceeding in Reading, 92% in Writing, around 75% in Grammar and Punctuation, 79% in Spelling (up 14% from 2024), and approximately 85% in Numeracy. These results show that almost all of our students are meeting or exceeding the national benchmark, with the majority achieving at strong levels.

Whole School Strengths:
Across both Year 3 and Year 5, more than 90% of students are performing at strong or exceeding levels in most areas. Very few students are in the “needs support” category, demonstrating the effectiveness of our teaching programs and the commitment of our students.

Areas of Focus:
While our overall results are very strong, we are always looking for ways to build on success. This year, our attention will be on:

Spelling and Grammar in Year 3 – strengthening foundational skills so that more students can reach the highest levels of achievement.

Numeracy in Year 3 – extending confidence and problem-solving strategies to ensure students continue to thrive as they progress through the school.

By targeting these areas, we are confident we can help even more students move from strong to exceeding, and continue to build the outstanding growth already shown in Year 5.
