A fantastic and successful day was had by all at the SSV Armadale District Diving Carnival held at St Catherine’s on Tuesday 25 March. A huge thank you goes out to our incredible diving coach, Tamica Mandaletti, who has been training with our girls throughout the term. Her dedication ensured that all the girls enjoyed the day and the competition, even learning new dives along the way!

Our students could not have been happier or more ready to take on the day. The 9/10 Year Olds started strong, excited for their first-ever diving competition. A huge congratulations to Charlotte Gan, who finished 1st in the B Division, and Henri Switkowski, who finished in 3rd place.

Next, we moved on to the 11 Year Old Division, where our Year 5 students once again shone in the pool. Alice Bingham finished in 2nd place, while Leticia Campos secured 3rd place.

The final event of the day was the 12/13 Year Olds, where our Year 6 students were incredible. We had a hugely successful event with the Year 6’s achieving a clean sweep: Elizabeth Switkowski finished 1st, Nina Steedman 2nd, Pearl Gunnersen 3rd, and Millie Macrae 4th!

A fantastic effort from all the girls, who have thoroughly enjoyed training for this sport over the last 8 weeks. Congratulations to everyone involved for making this day a memorable one!
