Our Years 5 and 6 Writers’ Club provides an opportunity for girls to practise the skills they learn in class, supporting them to become even more confident and skilled writers.   

Every week, they dive into the world of writing and explore different ways to use words and phrases to captivate the reader – whether it is using descriptive words to paint a picture or including clever twists in their stories.  

Our Writers’ Club is a special place for students to come together and celebrate their individual skills as a writer, bringing their ideas to life in texts.  

At the end of each session, the students are given the chance to share what they have written and celebrate the awesome texts they have created.  

The girls love that they get to write about a wide range of topics, using their own unique style and voice to explore different ideas.
