As the new year begins, it is a great time to reflect on the role that sport plays in your children’s lives.

Sports can offer many benefits, from physical activity and improved health to increased confidence and teamwork skills.

We have loved seeing St Catherine’s students embracing each and every sporting opportunity, as the new school year has commenced.

Term 1 will see our swimmers back in action, training for the Armadale District Swimming Competition next Thursday 16 February.

Our after school sport program commenced this week, with lots of students encouraged to play competitive games and sports while displaying exemplary sportsmanship.

Year 6 students, Bella Wilkins and Bella Sullivan are off to represent St Catherine’s at the District Tennis Tournament on Monday 13 February. Good luck girls!

After a successful GSV Swimming competition for the Years 5 and 6 students in Term 4 last year, we are excited to announce our Years 5 and 6 students will have even more opportunities to participate in GSV Sporting Carnivals as well as our District Sport throughout the year. Please find the Barbreck Sport Calendar for 2023 here.
