The Creative Arts Auxiliary (CAA) recognises the importance of creative arts education, the benefits of sustained involvement in the arts and an advocacy role for the creative arts within the whole School community.  

The Auxiliary exists to support the students, Heads of Music, Art, Drama and Performing Arts Departments, and all creative arts staff by supporting their performance and exhibition events, including raising funds for purchases or projects identified by the Heads of Departments. The Auxiliary also promotes the development of School community friendship and fellowship by drawing on parents, past parents and Old Girls to assist in our activities.  

In Term 4 we are excited to support, and celebrate the creative arts at St Catherine’s at the following events:

	VCE Art Show Dorothy Pizzey Centre Friday 7 October: 6.00pm till 8.00pm Saturday 8 October: 2.00pm till 4.00pm Sunday 9 October: 2.00 till 4.00pm	Refreshments and Silent Art Auction: Opening Night – Friday 7 October, 2022 The silent art auctions on the opening evening are remarkable pieces that will make great gifts and assist the St Catherine’s community. EFTPOS is available. Please invite all your family and friends to attend.
	Celebration of Music Breakfast The Jamie and Rebecca Gray Theatre Thursday 13 October: 7.30am till 8.30am	To pre-purchase breakfast catering for this event click here.
	Curious Comedies Years 7&8 Production The Jamie and Rebecca Gray Theatre Friday 14 October: 7.00pm till 9.30pm Saturday 15 October: 2.30pm till 4.30pm	Refreshments available for purchase. EFTPOS available. In addition to snacks and refreshments, Crèmant Champagne will also be available.
