GAT Facts for Parents and Students

All students completing one or more Units 3&4 subjects are required to sit the General Achievement Test on Wednesday 7 September 2022.

As per previous years, there will be no VCE classes for Years 11 and 12 students on this day.

Year 11 students who do not study an accelerated subject are not required to attend and must undertake private study either at School in the Nicholas Library or at home.

All Units 3&4 students, including those who study Languages externally, are required to attend.

The GAT does not contribute to subject study scores nor the final ATAR. However, it is used by VCAA in moderation and for any student who may need a derived exam score if they cannot attend a final exam.
