News from Sport – House Athletics Carnival
The annual Barbreck House Athletics Carnival took place on Monday 9 May at Duncan Mackinnon Reserve in cool but sunny conditions.
Track events included 800m, 100m, Hurdles, 200m, and relays.
There were many fine performances on the track, including the Barbreck Blue Ribbon event for the fastest girl in the Junior School. In 2022 the Blue Ribbon race was won by Year 6 student Arabella Foote who took out the title for the second year running.

The relays are always popular races with all girls who wanted to run getting the opportunity to be involved.
In the overall results, it was Beaulieu Blair who ran out comfortable winners.
