Duke of Edinburgh – April Adventurous Journeys

With much excitement, our young Duke of Edinburgh adventurers finally embarked on their expeditions over the Term 1 school holidays. Reconnecting with earth and sky, woods and fields, lakes and rivers, the mountain and the sea.

Our Three Capes explorers enjoyed the sunny Autumn weather in Tasmania, venturing into an UnZoo – an eco-friendly sanctuary, where there are no boundaries and animals come and go as they please. The students enjoyed feeding the birds and spotting a Tasmanian Devil.

Finding their purpose, passion, and place in the world, our Silver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh adventurers completed their eight-day canoeing expedition on Lake Eildon. They camped in tents and learned how to paddle an open canoe surrounded by many types of wildlife.

Our remarkable Maria Island trailblazers remained patient, resilien,t and calm as they experienced the challenges of travelling post-COVID. Through well-documented flight cancellations, delays and finally mechanical issues, their adventurous journey has had to be rescheduled for the months to come.
