As a School, we have an excellent history of the management of COVID-19 cases.

Under the current government guidelines, when the School is notified of a positive case of COVID-19, students and staff are not considered household contacts.

If your daughter has been in class or an activity with a student who tests positive to COVID-19, 48 hours prior to the notification of the positive test, you will receive an email directly to notify you.

Please do not be concerned when you do not receive communication from St Catherine’s in relation to a positive COVID-19 case in the School. This means your daughter is not in the same class or activity as the student or staff member who has tested positive.

Parents are reminded, however, that any student attending School who is experiencing COVID symptoms, should not attend school at this time and seek a Rapid Antigen Test.

Students from Prep to Year 12 and staff are encouraged to self-administer the government supplied Rapid Antigen Tests on Monday and Thursday mornings, before leaving home for School, for the first four weeks of Term 1.

If you have any concerns regarding COVID-19, please contact the School Nurses on  email: nurses@stcatherines.net.au or phone: 9822 1285
