Jessica Yang Recognised as Top VCE Student

St Catherine’s School is proud to announce, Year 12 student Jessica Yang has been awarded the Premier’s Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) Study Award for Accounting.

Each year, the Victorian Department of Education and Training recognises students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in their VCE. Students must have a study score of 46 or above to be eligible for the award.

This award recognises the top four to five students in Accounting across Victoria, each year.

Jessica received a perfect score (50) in VCE Accounting in 2020, undertaking the Unit 3&4 subjects in Year 11. Her results are largely due to her great ability to analyse numbers as well as understand complex concepts.

Her academic success is testament to her determination and perseverance through the difficulties of 2020.

Well done Jessica!
