District Cross Country Championship

On Monday 22 May, 40 very courageous Barbreck girls competed in the District Cross Country Championship. In a spirited performance, St Catherine’s finished in 3^rd place, and took home the ‘Population’ trophy which is calculated on school size. It was great to see so many girls rise to the occasion and find that extra special St Catherine’s spirit. Congratulations to Audrey Kyriakou (Year 6) and Caitlin Wang (Year 6) who executed a fine job as Cross Country Captains.

In standout performances:

• Sienna Darcy (Year 6): 3^rd in 12-13 Years division
• Ava Colosimo (Year 6): 5^th in 12-13 Years division
• Emma Peele (Year 3): 2^nd in 9 Years division and also qualified for the 10 Years division team.

All qualified for the Beachside Division championships at Ball Hill Reserve on Tuesday 30 May.
