Senior Art Show 2015

All members of the St Catherine’s community are welcome to come along to this year’s Senior Art Show commencing today until Sunday 12 October in the Dorothy Pizzey Centre.

The Show highlights the Visual Arts students from Years 10 to 12, showcasing their efforts in the studio this year. The girls have worked in a diverse range of media, exploring creative solutions to communicate their ideas.

The students have demonstrated a very high level of creativity and an inherent understanding of their selected materials resulting in a wonderful display of artworks.

The Senior Art Show will be officially opened at 6.30pm tonight by our 2015 Artist-in-Residence and past St Catherine’s student, Rowena Martinich (‘97). It will also be open:

• Saturday 10 October 10.00am to 4.00pm
• Sunday 11 October 2.00pm to 4.00pm
• Monday 12 October 8.30am to 2.30pm

Seussical Jr

Seussical Jr, the vibrant and colourful musical by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, is based on the much loved books of Dr Seuss and follows the adventures of Horton the Elephant as he tries to save the tiny world of Who.

We hope you enjoy the Years 7 & 8 Musical, where “a person’s a person, no matter how small!”
