Victorian Cross Country Interschools Report
The Victorian Cross Country Interschool Snowsports Championship was held over the weekend. With beautiful sunshine and a great snow base, our Snowsports Squad had pristine racing conditions.
The determination displayed by all St Catherine’s students from both our Junior and Senior Schools was nothing short of inspiring. The girls displayed their skills and spirit of sportswomanship across the entire weekend.
Our Senior School athletes impressed, finishing second in the Overall Secondary Girls Championships with 53 points – only 10 points behind winners, MLC.
Our Junior School athletes finished a close third in the Overall Primary Girls Championship – only one point behind Melbourne Girls Grammar School and seven points behind the winners, Lauriston Girls’ School.
Congratulations to Avalon Pascoe (Year 6) who finished third in the individual Cross-Country Classic event. This is an incredible achievement.

The strength of our Snowsports Program is a testament to all the amazing parents, families, and students we have involved. This is enhanced with the invaluable guidance of our esteemed Old Girls who helped the St Catherine’s Squad over the weekend.

We look forward to the next event in our Snowsport calendar, the Victorian Interschools Snowsports Championships taking place on Mt Buller over Monday 19 to Sunday 25 August.
